ENGINAIRE PRE-CLEANER
APPLICATION GUIDE
To determine the proper
ENGINAIRE model the following procedure should be followed.
Refer to the equipment model listing. Verify the engine and aspiration.
If the equipment model is not listed or the engine is different refer to the
engine listing to select the proper model ENGINAIRE. You will need to know:
Engine model
Cubic inch displacement(C.I.D.)
Maximum engine operating R.P.M.
Aspiration (Naturally aspirated, Turbo-charged,
Turbo-charged inner cooled or after cooled)
Measure outside diameter of the air intake pipe
Consult the engine listing section for the
recommended ENGINAIRE precleaner
size. Then refer to the specification page for the proper model.
If the engine is not listed, the C.F.M. can be
calculated by using the C.F.M. formula. The correct
ENGINAIRE precleaner is then selected by using the
specification chart. You should match the engines C.F.M. requirement into the C.F.M.
range column, then reading right to left, considering the intake pipe size, will result in
the proper ENGINAIRE model
needed.
Refer to the chart below for model numbers, sizes, and C.F.M.
