If you are an owner of a '98.5-'02 Dodge Ram Pickup with the Bosch VP44 fuel injection pump, you may have heard that you should monitor the supply pump pressure.  Blue Ridge Diesel has a kit available for your truck that includes almost everything you need to mount the gauge in your truck**.  Of course, we haven't been able to package the labor into the same box, so you must provide that. 

We have included the following into the gauge kit:
0-30 psi Westach electric fuel pressure gauge and sender, R. L. Torresdal fuel inlet banjo, banjo washers, EATON Aeroquip teflon hose assembly and adapters to connect the sending unit to fuel injection pump, bracket to mount the sending unit to the truck, and a black Lexan gauge mounting plate and screws (see the picture above showing gauge in dash). 

Note: If you cannot mount your gauge into the dash pocket, there are other 2" gauge mounts available from your local auto parts sources from gauge pods to brackets to A-Pillar mounts.  You can be as creative as you choose to be...

You will have to add the wire and electrical connectors to complete the installation.  Full instructions are included with the gauge as to the suggested wire size and connections.  Once installed, you can use your gauge to keep track of your fuel supply pump pressures and hopefully prevent injection pump failure due to lack of proper fuel supply.

** Due to the many different configurations of everyone's trucks, we cannot say that this kit will fit all configurations out there, but we tried our best to make it fit a good number of the stock trucks we've seen.  If we can assist you in providing customized parts in addition to the kit, let us know.  We always try to keep abreast of changes and adjust to the changing needs accordingly!
